Join the Parks & Recreation Department for our 2010 Summer Concert Series. Sit back and enjoy evenings of great live music for an evening of family fun. In the event of inclement weather, the performance will be canceled.

Veterans Association for Military Musicians
Former and active members of the Armed Forces band programs and musically talented military members provide their talents to perform concert band and dance band music.

Flower Power Band
The four members of the Flower Power Band entertain audiences with an extensive selection of big hits and lesser-known gems from the '60s and '70s.

Steve Pullara and his Cool Beans Band
Steve Pullara and his Cool Beans Band's music is spirited and zany, crossing over into many diverse avenues ranging from folk to bluegrass. This eclectic mix makes the band's music appealing to a wide audience, from kids to adults.

Daisy Jug Band
The Daisy Jug Band has been entertaining audiences for over 30 years. They are known for their diversity of music and showmanship and love to get the audience in on the act.

Wissahickon Pops
Students from the Wissahickon School District form this orchestra featuring a tremendous amount of talent, energy, and passion.

The Rivers Rockabilly Trio
The Rivers are dedicated historical preservationists, playing vintage American music that is rarely heard on the radio. It's the music of Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Bill Haley, The Everly Brothers, Chuck Berry and other rockabilly influenced musicians from the '50s and '60s.

Society Music Makers
Performing music from the '50s through today's recent hits, the Society Music Makers are guaranteed to make music lovers of all ages get up and dance.

Gene Galligan and Friends
Gene Galligan's unique puppets - Tiki the Mockingbird, Ludwig the Cool Dude, and Clatsy Pine - sing a variety of contemporary, traditional, and original children's songs. Participate in the show through sing-a-longs and dancing.

Linda Holliday
This fun-filled family show features comedy magic, lots of audience participation, music, songs, and ventriloquism. You never know who will be in Linda Holliday's company - it might be Mikey recounting his adventures, Bowzer Pup telling an hilarious story, or cutie-pie Baby Chuckee telling fractured nursery rhymes and singing silly songs.
