Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance

The Chairman called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. in the Lower Gwynedd Township Municipal Building and led those in attendance in the pledge of allegiance. The Chairman stated the Board of Supervisors met in an Executive Session before the meeting on a Real Estate matter.

 

BUSINESS & FINANCIAL

 

Receipt of Meeting Minutes:

The Board of Supervisors received the minutes of the October 25, 2016 Regular Meeting. The Chairman asked if there were any questions or corrections on the above minutes. There were none. Dr. Booth made a motion, seconded by Ms. Hunsicker to approve the minutes of October 25, 2016. The motion carried

4 – 0.

 

Receipt of Invoice History by General Ledger Account for October, 2016

The Board of Supervisors received the Invoice History for the month of October, 2016 in the amount of

$1,027,367.25. The Chairman asked if there were any questions or comments. There were none. Ms. Hunsicker made a motion, seconded by Dr. Booth to approve the Invoice History by General Ledger Account for October, 2016 in the amount of $1,027,337.25. The motion carried 4 - 0.

 

 

PUBLIC COMMENTS


The Chairman opened the meeting for public comment for items not on the agenda. There were none.

 

OTHER BUSINESS

 

Approval of Transfer of 510 Tax Parcels

Mr. Savona asked for the Boards approval to transfer 510 Tax Parcels from the Municipal Authority and their holdings to the Township. He stated the filing fees for recording are $8,300. Dr. Booth made a motion, seconded by Mr. Grey to approve the transfer of 510 Tax Parcels form the Municipal Authority to the Township and the recording costs of $8,300. The motion carried 4 – 0.

 

Resolution No. 2016 – 30:   Multimodal Transportation Fund Grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation

Mr. Savona stated Resolution No. 2016-30 is a resolution requesting the applicant of the Multimodal

Transportation Fund Grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation designate Craig

McAnally, Township Manager as the official to execute all documents and agreements between the

Township of Lower Gwynedd and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation to facilitate and

assist in obtaining the requested grant. Dr. Booth made a motion, seconded by Mr. Grey to adopt

Resolution No. 2016-30: Multimodal Transportation Fund Grant from the Pennsylvania Department of

Transportation. The motion carried 4 – 0.

 

MANAGER’S REPORT

 

Report from the Manager – Municipal activities, projects

 

SUPERVISORS/STAFF COMMENTS

 

Mr. Grey wished everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.

 

Ms. Hunsicker also wished everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.

 

Dr. Booth wished Craig McAnally good luck and a healthy recovery from surgery.

 

Mr. Paccione thanked all the volunteers of the Veterans Memorial Ceremony. He said every year it gets

better and better. He wished everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.

 

There being no further questions or comments, the meeting was adjourned at 7:40 p.m. until the next

Regular Meeting scheduled on November 22, 2016 at the Lower Gwynedd Township Building.
