Lower Gwynedd Township Building Closed to Public Until Further Notice

Stay Safe and Healthy
For the health and safety of residents and employees, the Township Building will remain closed through April 30 in accordance with Governor Wolf’s stay-at-home order.

The Township remains open for business. Our police, fire, EMS and Township employees are providing essential services. We again thank them for their dedication. Our intent is to continue to provide services as best as possible during this situation.

Please call 215-646-5302 or contact staff by email for assistance.

Public Meetings

The Board of Supervisors will meet virtually on April 14, 2020. Details on how to participate in the meeting will be available next week.

All other Township meetings through April 30 are cancelled.

Parks Activity
Weather is slowly improving and that means outdoor activity. Township trails, courts and playing surfaces remain open but social distancing must be observed. Playgrounds are closed. All Parks and Recreation programming and facility usage has been cancelled until further notice.

Lower Gwynedd continues to wish you and your family the best during this challenging time. Please stay home and stay healthy.

Events and Activities
The Township’s electronic waste recycling and shredding day scheduled for tomorrow has been cancelled. We are hopeful to be able to rescheduled for the fall.

Given the situation, the Township asks that any Open Record requests not be filed at this time.

Waste Management is suspending bulk collection of furniture, carpet, mattresses and appliances. Collection will resume once conditions return to normal.

No Wipes Down Pipes
The Township urges residents to only flush toilet paper down toilets due to backups and clogging in the sewer system caused by other items.

Sanitary or disposable disinfectant wipes, tissues, paper towels, dental floss or other hygiene products should not be flushed down toilets.

Support A Local Business
This is an unprecedented time for businesses. Please consider purchasing an item online from a local business or doing takeout from a restaurant. These small actions can help businesses in large ways.
