2024 Road Program

The following roads will be resurfaced or repaired as part of the 2024 Road Program in Lower Gwynedd Township.

Resurfaced:

  • Judie Lane (Alene Road to Marie Road)
  • Marie (Davis to cul-de-sac)
  • Gwynedd Avenue (Gypsy Hill Road to Railroad)
  • School House Lane (Dekalb Pike to Plymouth Road)
  • Joans Lane (E. Lamplighter Lane to Uxbridge Way)
  • E. Meetinghouse Road (Evans Road to cul-de-sac)

Ultra-Thin Friction Course:

  • Alene Road
  • Hamilton Road
  • Davis Road
  • Hays Lane
  • Lamplighter Lane
  • Lamplighter Circle
  • Vestra Road

The Township is responsible for repair, maintenance and snow removal for 47 miles of roads. Each year the Township surveys the road conditions and develops a plan for repaving and curb replacement. Questions can be directed to the Township Assistant Public Works Director at 215-646-5302.

In addition to Township roads, approximately 4.8 miles of county and 19.80 miles of state roads run through Lower Gwynedd. Questions regarding maintenance and/or snow plowing should be directed to either the county or state as appropriate.
