How Do I...?

Operation Assurance

Operation Assurance is a free telephone service available to senior citizens (62 and older) and any disabled person who lives alone in Lower Gwynedd Township. The telephone service is offered by the Township police department in order to ensure the safety and well being of the elderly or disabled residents living in the Township.

How it works:

The resident calls 215-371-2666 or 215-646-5303 daily, in the morning to let the police department know that he or she is OK or if help is needed. If the police department doesn't hear from the resident by 10am, the department will call him or her to make sure that the person is OK. The resident must provide the police department with a house key, name and telephone number of two people (family, friend, neighbor) in the event we can not reach the resident or if help is needed.

Operation Assurance is not a substitute for 911. In the event of an emergency remember to dial 911.
