2021 Real Estate Tax Bills Mailed

Lower Gwynedd and Montgomery County real estate tax bills have been mailed. April 30, 2021 is the last day for payment to qualify for the 2 percent discount.

Save The Date: Electronic Recycling And Paper Shredding Event On May 15, 2021

The Township will host a residents-only electronic recycling and paper shredding event on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the Township Building. The event will run from 8 a.m. until noon, or until the recycling trucks are filled. Residents will be required to provide proof of residency.

Whitpain Road Work May Affect Drivers

Residents who use Morris Road should be aware that a section of Morris Road between Route 202 and Tournament Drive in Whitpain will be closed beginning this Monday, March 15, through March 19 for drainage pipe replacement.

The work is part of the widening and reconstructing of nearly three miles of Route 202 from south of Morris Road in Whitpain to Hancock Road in Lower Gwynedd.

Route 202, Skippack Pike and North Wales Road will be alternates during the work.

PECO Inspecting Natural Gas Meters

PECO is performing inspections of natural gas meters and regulators in the Township as part of a region-wide maintenance and inspection program. The inspections are required by the Public Utility Commission.

Work is being performed by a qualified PECO contractor. All contractors will have a PECO contractor ID badge. Residents do not need to be home and the contractor will not need to enter your home.

Township Hiring Seasonal Public Works Employees

The Township is looking to hire two summer seasonal Public Works employees. Employees will perform maintenance and manual labor activities. Must have a valid PA Driver’s license, pass a drug and alcohol screening along with background check. Employment will be from June through September on a Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. schedule.
