LGT EAC Bird Town

The Lower Gwynedd Township Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) will be hosting the YOUR BACKYARD BIRDS, free presentation on Friday, February 10 at 7 p.m. at the Township Building.

Learn to identify the birds of your backyard and way to attract them.  They will also be discuss the Great Backyard Bird Count, a citizen science program that takes place every February. 

The presentation is approximately 90 minutes and there will be time for questions and answers. 

The EAC is also hosting a series of Bird Walks with Steve Saffier, the Lower Gwynedd Bird Town Coordinator.

Join Steve on a morning walk to observe birds in various locations throughout the Township. Bring binoculars if you have them.
Guided bird walks are free as part of Lower Gwynedd's Bird Town program. Walks limited to 15 participants. No dogs or strollers please.
Locations vary each month:
1/20 - Treweryn Farm Trail park
2/17 - Gwynedd Preserve
3/17 - Penllyn Woods
4/21 - Oxford Park
5/19 - Penllyn Woods
6/16 - Treweryn Farm Trail Park
Meet in the main parking lot at the park listed for the date you are attending.
