December 31 is the Deadline for Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program
This message is a reminder to our older residents and people with disabilities that you have until December 31 to apply for rebates on property taxes and rent paid in 2023. The rebates are available through the Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program, which benefits eligible Pennsylvanians age 65 and older; widows and widowers age 50 and older; and people with disabilities age 18 and older. The expanded eligibility announced earlier this year does not start until January 1 of 2024. Eligible applicants are encouraged to file online through mypath.pa.gov.
