Safely dispose of your unwanted electronics at our Techno Trash Recycling event. This service is available to Lower Gwynedd Township residents ONLY (proof of residency required).

✅ Accepted Items

• Disk Media: CDs, CD-Rs, CD-RWs, DVDs, DVD-Rs, Blu-ray, Laser Disc, 3.5”, 5.25” floppy, zip, jaz disks, and cases.
• Tapes: VHS-all types, audio cassette, 8mm, Hi8, mini DV, DAT, DLT, LTO, Beta, BetaCam, BetaMax U-matic/ ¾” tape, DVCam, Digibeta.
• Cases: All types of plastic CD and DVD cases, All types of plastic video and audio tape cases.
• Computer drives: Hard drives, zip, floppy, CD-ROM, DVD drives, flash, thumb, SD and flash memory cards.
  Pagers, PDAs and their chargers, cradles, and headset accessories.
• MP3 players, iPods, iPads, Amazon Fire tablets, e-readers, Kindles, GPS units, computer speakers, video game consoles and cartridges, gaming controllers, hand-held CD, cassette players, portable DVD players, and digital cameras.
• Inkjet and toner cartridges (must be in a sealed bag).
• Film: Black and White film-related items only.
• Miscellaneous items: keyboards, mice, modems, routers, headphones, earbuds, AirPods, cables, cords, adaptors, surge protectors, boards, and chips.

❌Items NOT Accepted

• NO desktop computers, monitors, printers, fax machines, scanners.
• NO desktop phones, answering machines, photocopiers, shredders, clocks, alarm clocks, and calculators.
• NO razors, hair dryers, flat irons, toothbrushes.
• NO kitchen appliances
• NO light bulbs, lamps, vacuums, carbon monoxide detectors.
• NO stereo systems, radios, CB radios, stereo speakers, TVs, remote controls.
• NO vinyl records, overhead transparencies.
• NO mercury containing devices such as thermometers, thermostats, smoke detectors
• NO medical devices such as blood pressure monitors, glucose meters, electrode pads, vapes.
• NO color film related items: film, slides, negatives, microfilm, microfiche.

⚠️Additional Restrictions (As Listed)

• CELL PHONES: All Cell Phones must be placed in a plastic closable bag.
• NO BATTERIES: Rechargeable Batteries, Lithium, Ni-Cad, Button, Lead Acid batteries can be dropped off during Montgomery County Household Hazardous Waste Events. You must register ahead of those events.
