Development in the Township is always something that stirs up interests in the community. Property owners have a right to explore the opportunity of developing their parcels if they choose and they come to the Township requesting consideration of these various proposals. Township Officials are charged with navigating the legal process of subdivision/land development, zoning, rezoning, and any other required processes stipulated through local and state statutes when these proposals are submitted. Upcoming discussions are scheduled for the regular meetings of the Board of Supervisors that start at 7 pm pertaining to potential development projects within the Township. The community is encouraged to join the conversation by attending the meetings in person or virtually to stay informed. The upcoming discussions on the Board of Supervisors agenda include:

  • August 26, 2025- A presentation of a proposed zoning amendment and development plan providing for a 43-unit apartment building and a self-storage facility at Ambler Yards.
  • September 9, 2025- A more detailed presentation (originally presented at the July 22nd meeting) of a proposed development at Cedar Hill Road and Bethlehem Pike by the developer and public discussion with the Board of Supervisors will be scheduled for the September 9th meeting.
