PECO will be upgrading underground electric facilities within the Gwyn Ayres development. The project area is shown in red on the accompanying map. This $1.4 million infrastructure investment is designed to help the system withstand more frequent and damaging storms, improve reliability by reducing the frequency of outages that cannot be prevented, and support the growing adoption of cleaner energy resources such as solar power and electric vehicles.
Work is expected to begin in early December and continue through late June 2026.
