Please be advised that the new trash/recycling contract with Republic Services begins November 1st!! Republic Services will provide the same service in place today and the scheduled pick-up dates will remain unchanged. What is changing under this contract is the opportunity for a low-volume rate with a smaller receptacle or a senior citizen discount. If you are interested in this, please contact Republic at 215-723-0400 (be sure to tell them you're under the Lower Gwynedd Contract). The overall contract cost will increase as this is a new contract, and the prices have increased since the last contract bid five years ago. The new rate for trash/recycling service will be $117.00 per quarter for contract year 1, November 1st, 2025, until October 31st, 2026.
