Celebrate National Public Works Week with a Community Scavenger Hunt!

Lower Gwynedd Township is proud to celebrate National Public Works Week, taking place May 17–23, 2026. This year’s theme, “Rooted in Service, Powered by Community,” recognizes the essential public works services that help keep our community safe, connected, and thriving every day.

From maintaining roads and stormwater systems to caring for parks, trails, and public spaces, public works professionals play an important role in daily life, often behind the scenes. To help families learn more about these important services, the Township is hosting a family-friendly Public Works Week Scavenger Hunt.

About the Scavenger Hunt:

Participants are encouraged to download or screenshot the scavenger hunt checklist and explore the community while discovering examples of public works in action.

Join us in celebrating the people, projects, and services that help power our community every day!
