Lower Gwynedd Township residents have several opportunities this month to recycle, donate unwanted items, and safely dispose of household hazardous waste. Whether you're cleaning out closets, upgrading electronics, or tackling a home decluttering project, these events make it easy to recycle responsibly and reduce waste.
Goodwill Keystone: One Stop Drop! Donation Event

Lower Gwynedd Township is partnering with Goodwill Keystone to host a convenient "One Stop Drop" donation event. Residents are encouraged to bring gently used items they no longer need and help support programs that provide job training, education, and employment opportunities throughout our region.
Accepted Items Include:
- Clothing & shoes
- Sports equipment
- Household items
- Small furniture
- And more!
Electronics Recycling — FREE OF CHARGE!
We’re also accepting electronics in any condition, making it easy to responsibly dispose of old devices.
Montgomery County Household Hazardous Waste Collections-2026
Montgomery County residents can safely dispose of household hazardous waste at several collection events taking place throughout June.
Upcoming Collection Dates:
- Saturday, June 6 – Temple University Ambler Campus Enter at 1431 E. Butler Pike, Ambler
- Saturday, June 20 – Norristown Area High School 1900 Eagle Drive, Norristown
- Saturday, June 27 – Abington Middle School Enter at 2056 Susquehanna Road, Abington
Important Information:
- Appointments are required.
- Residents must pre-register before attending.
- Collection events are free for Montgomery County residents.
- Events are held outdoors.
- There are no permanent household hazardous waste drop-off locations in Montgomery County.
- Montgomery County residents may also attend household hazardous waste events hosted by Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Philadelphia counties.
