Spotted Lanternfly Scraping Event This Saturday

Join the Township for a Spotted Lanternfly egg mass scraping event this Saturday. Participants will locate and then scrape egg masses.

Pre-registration is required by calling the Township at 215-646-6302. Masks must be worn.

Leaf Collection This Saturday

Customers under the Township Trash/Recycling Contract with Republic Services will have a Spring yard waste collection this Saturday, April 9, 2021. Please place leaves in biodegradable bags curbside by 6 a.m. Saturday morning for collection.

Morris Road at Route 202 Closing This Monday

Morris Road from the entrance of Normandy Farm to Route 202 will close this Monday for road work as part of the Route 202 reconstruction project. The intersection will be closed around-the-clock through May 8, 2021.

Drivers will be directed to use Route 202, Skippack Pike and North Wales Road during the closure. Local access to the construction zone will be possible. Please allow extra time if you have to travel through the area. The work is weather dependent.

Drug Take Back Day on April 24

Unused and expired prescription drugs can be dropped off at the Lower Gwynedd Township Building Lobby Collection Box throughout the year in anticipation of National Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, April 24, 2021. Drugs can be dropped off in the collection box in the lobby 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Fireworks Display On April 17

Montgomery County Community College will hold a firework display between 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 17, 2021. Please note the time if fireworks alarm anyone in your home or your pets.

Save The Date: Electronic Recycling and Paper Shredding Event on May 15

The Township will host a residents-only electronic recycling and paper shredding event on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the Township Building. The event will run from 8 a.m. until 12 noon, or until the recycling trucks are filled. Residents will be required to provide proof of residency.
