Montgomery County Roads & Bridges will move forward with the planned closure of Plymouth Road between Grasshopper Lane and Gypsy Hill Road beginning April 5th, 2022. The plan is to close Plymouth Road as long as the adjacent project is complete and Morris Road is open to traffic. The road will be closed for the replacement of the bridge over the Wissahickon Creek. This will be a full closure at the bridge. As stated previously, all driveways and access to local businesses will remain open throughout the duration of the project. The full bridge replacement project is expected to be completed in early October. All work and proposed schedules are weather dependent.
